ICU Battery Upgrade

Your ICU (Ignition Control Unit) can’t be charged anymore? Your charger doesn’t recognize the cells? We offer an upgrade service for your ICU!

The ICU will be completely disassembled and serviced

• new Samsung cells
• increase of capacity
  • rectangular ICU: from 4.4 Ah up to 7 Ah
  • cylindrical ICU: from 6.6 Ah up to 10.5 Ah
  • more riding time before recharging
• cells will be point welded and sealed
• fits in genuine ICU housing
• bolts and seals serviced so the ICU will stay waterproof

How will it be done?

• contact us first and we talk about defects of your ICU – we can’t repair everything!
• ICU shipped to our workshop (at customers expenses; insured with tracking)
• upgrade of ICU in our workshop (approx. up to 10 working days, depending on availability of parts and components)
• test
• shipping to customer by DHL incl. insurance and tracking

As we work on a used / pre-owned item, we give warranty on service conducted by us. We won’t take responsibility on any other defects. Damages caused by water inside the ICU or broken electronical components prohibit the upgrade.
