Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to have experience with surfing or water sports?

No. Our JETSURF Experiences are designed for both beginners and advanced riders. At the start, you’ll receive a detailed briefing on technique, safety, and handling. After that, we’ll guide you step by step on the water.

Do I have to know how to swim?

Yes. For safety reasons, we require participants to have strong swimming skills. Throughout the entire experience, you will, of course, wear a protective vest and – depending on the experience – an appropriate helmet.

Are there any age or weight restrictions?

Our JETSURF Experiences are generally intended for teenagers and adults in normal physical condition. Minors may participate with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
For safety and equipment reasons, there is a maximum body weight limit of 120 kg, including a wetsuit, life jacket, helmet, etc. If you exceed this limit or have specific physical conditions, please contact us before booking. Together, we’ll determine whether you can participate and which experience is best suited for you.

What clothes should I bring?

Please bring a swimsuit, a towel, and, if the weather is cool, your own wetsuit if needed. If necessary, we will provide you with the required protective gear, such as a helmet and a protective vest.

Does the experience take place regardless of the weather?

No. Safety is our top priority. In the event of a thunderstorm, strong winds, or other unsuitable weather conditions, we will, of course, reschedule your appointment to an alternative date at no charge.

What does a JETSURF Experience involve?

After you submit your booking request, we’ll first check the availability of instructors, equipment, and weather conditions. You’ll then receive a confirmation of your reservation. On the day of the event, we’ll start with a briefing before heading out onto the water together.

How many people are participating at the same time?

Our Experiences are intentionally held in small groups with personalized attention. This allows us to cater to each participant individually and ensure a safe riding experience.

Can I participate with my own JETSURF board?

This is possible at select locations. Whether you are allowed to use your own board and whether a usage fee applies for the body of water depends on the specific location and will be indicated accordingly during the booking process.

Is there an age restriction?

In general, participants should be physically fit and able to follow the instructor’s instructions confidently. Minors may participate only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

What’s included in the price?

Depending on the experience you book, the price includes, among other things, personal guidance, instruction, use of the JETSURF board, fuel or power, the required protective gear, and the agreed-upon ride time. You can find the exact services included in the description of each experience.

Can I give a gift certificate as a gift?

Yes. Our JETSURF Experiences make excellent gifts. Gift certificates can be purchased without specifying a specific date and redeemed later.

What happens after I make my reservation?

Once you’ve completed your booking, you’ll first receive a confirmation that we’ve received your request. We’ll then check the weather, equipment, and instructor availability and personally confirm your appointment. Only then will your experience be officially scheduled.

Can I reschedule my experience?

If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Together, we will find a suitable alternative date, if possible.
